Alignment specs

I really wanted to knock it out todau but didn’t have the confidence to do it before my 4 hour trip to Chattanooga so it’ll be sometime this week

 

Got my JBA UCAs installed today. Getting alignment done tomorrow and hopefully it’ll stop rubbing cab with my 255/80/17s

 

So here are the results from my new alignment after the JBAs installed. Can somebody tell me how this looks?

 

different strokes for different folks.

that level of unevenness of toe left to right would drive me absolutely f'ing nuts, and the camber is no help. when i say different strokes, it's that my truck is so reinforced that these things become big effects on handling and steering, etc. if you still have compliance in your front end, much of that unevenness is absorbed. so, how's it drive for you?

 

The steering seemed tighter to me but I have no rub anymore since getting alignment done. It returns to the 12 o clock position after a turn on its own. It seems very responsive

 

if you like it and it's safe, that's all that matters really.

 

I hope it’s safe. They put as much caster in it as they could and stayed within spec on camber and toe which is honestly what i asked for. I didn’t really know what to ask for and I showed them the JBA file I downloaded that said to ask for what I did

 

Personally I’d run a bit less caster to get 0 toe and 0 camber. But that’s me.

 

Yeah I didn’t really expect them to be able to put this much caster in it. I was honestly surprised they were able to get so much

 

0 camber - 3 - 4 caster 0 toe IMO. Just got my alignment checked. I’ll post numbers. Shop I go to is a little shop sat there and watched. Told him my numbers he nailed them no questions. I’m one of the lucky ones

 

Very lucky. These guys thought I was insane and kept saying my truck code would tell them the exact alignment my truck needed so I had to explain to them with my lack of knowledge about what and why I wanted what i was asking for. They did do what I asked them to do though. Maybe I should’ve said as much caster as you can get up to 4 degrees. They told me to drive it and bring it back if I wasn’t happy with it. I’ll take it back and pay for another alignment if needed. It does feel somewhat weird driving at the moment. Not bad just different. Hard to explain. Maybe I’m overthinking it and it does still have a very slight rub now when backing to the left at full turn. Nowhere nearly as bad as it was this morning before alignment I thought I was gonna eat the rubber off my tires this morning it was rubbing so bad

 

Nice bro. Glad you can bring it back. With the camber being were it is I would ask for 0 camber. Your probably a little positive with those numbers. 0 will help with tire wear. Let me know how it goes definitely.
