    Check my build thread...too much to list.
    Ok, go start your own company in something as flooded as rims and see how long it takes to blow up. I wish you luck.

    Nah! Wheels aren't my forte.
    I design and build precious metals mining equipment.
    I don't start something that I can't put 100% of my efforts into and give my customer 100% guaranty turn around on seeing a product.

    SCS are a decent looking and build of a wheel, but people wanting a supply for demand and that's been surpass in wait times so people move on.
    Just nature of the beast.
    Even a friend of mine use to bring the SCS wheels into his dealership, said in 2018 the wait is to long. He has offered something else, different brand.
    People just buy those on there trucks out the dealership.

    If you can't meet customer demand after at least 5 years, that's not my problem. FN had wheels in stock, and from the phone conversations I had, I'd MUCH rather do business with them. I'll get my FN's next week, and I won't have to spend my time huddled around my phone waiting for a notification. If you don't believe they're doing it intentionally, I'm sorry, but you're having delusions.

    No, obnoxious because I've got better things to do, and don't want to put that much work into spending my money. Is being fast enough to buy wheels really a flex? :rolleyes:

    Frankly, even though I have Kansei wheels now, it's only because I was impatient when I went up to 17" after I did my mount chop to fit 33's; would have preferred the newer Gen5. I really liked the F5's I had when I first bought the truck, they were actually more affordable than the Kansei, and on the secondary market they sold in a heartbeat, and at my full asking price (even with the bit of finish failure).

    In fact the only complaint I have about their wheels would be a tiny bit of the finish flaking off the edge on one of them, but they would have fixed it or replaced it for me if I wanted to deal with the hassle and it just wasn't important enough for me at that point. They are very nice wheels, and the guys over there were helpful when I went to pick them up from their offices since they are relatively nearby. Sure it's frustrating that they are often out of stock, but I genuinely don't think it's an intentional thing; I believe they would be able to sell almost all of their more popular styles/ sizes if they had 5x the stock. That just takes ~5x the upfront cost on their end though, and they aren't a huge outfit.

    That's true, that is one thing I don't understand, the lack of ability to preorder with them. That seems like it would lock in guaranteed sales and potentially allow them to order more stock at a time, and not risk say, people deciding to go in a different direction while waiting for the monthly shipments to arrive (that may or may not have what someone is looking for style/size/color wise). But they gotta have some reason for it, because undoubtedly many have asked. Would be curious what that is

    I understand supply problems, that’s why I was willing to prepay. I’m not Russian. The real turnoff was “the drop “ concept. Fuck social media , though I joined ig JUST TO “sadly follow” scs. I’ve since re deleted that shit. They make really nice things but they’re handling the storefront terribly. I tried and tried, no mas.

    I get the sense that the SCS business model is to create rarity like Pappy Van Winkle. I’m in market for new wheels. Like the look of the Ray10 but the process of getting a set seems a bit ridiculous to me for a set of wheels. Especially considering some of those wheels are knock offs of other brands. :crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm:

    This is exactly what I did. I really liked the looks of the SCS Ray10 and was excited to get a set. But I didnt want to deal with the hassle of the ordering process. Im older and Im not going to spend my time staring at my phone waiting for the "merch to drop". I even considered buying a set from someone locally who was selling them for way more than what they go for. In the end I just went with FN and ordered a set of Countersteers. And let me tell you FN has hands down THE BEST customer service I have ever experienced. Gave FN a call and they were extremely knowledgeable on what wheel size would work best for what lift and tire size I had. No pressure, no hassles, and they took the time to answer all my questions. Go with FN, you wont regret it.

    Order confirmed, I switched to counter steer type x from the six shooter. FN wheels is going to have the bore of the hub machined. I guess it’s a little fatter than new ones (;
    Again Dustin was real easy to deal with, went over everything clearly. Should see them early December
