I like that much better than the add a fuse tap I used in the engine bay fuse box!

Had I been smart enough to even ask if this was possible I would’ve asked you to build me one to go with my DRL/rapture light T.

 

We can do it, just if you want the high beams tap then it means a new side with the 4 position AMP connector. Which won’t be super cost effective.

 

Are you available to make me a harness to connect the second button on my MESO stealth shift knob, which is in my dash behind where the ECT button was, to the “View” button, which is on the left side of the steering wheel? I don’t plan on keeping the “View” button, since I need its real estate for the glass break sensor microphone.

 

Is the "view" button for the trail camera features?

 

Yeah, I don’t really know any of those connectors at this time. Other than ECT and Auto Headlights, most of the rest of the switches have only female connector options making it difficult to extend or repurpose.

 

Yes, it allows you to toggle between the camera views.

 

@Shadowhunter I haven't forgotten you, you are still top of the list, but each night I get caught up on the on-menu orders and don't quite get to the off menu stuff. But hey, I still have a chance of making it by Christmas...

 

I put the old one back in and I moved the relays in a different spot up behind the radiator shroud for now. Glad I’m on your Christmas list.

 

Hey Dave, I want to add a MESO 3rd brake light to my 3rd gen. Do you have access to the OEM 3-wire plug?

 

Nope. MESO had to custom mold his I’m told. We spent a lot of effort and even failed with the access cab chmsl. Cut away I say. I’m planning my own hack n slash as well for both trucks.

@daveeasa I know a couple of guys who posted on they’ve successfully added turn signal mirrors to their SR5. However, they used posi-taps. Any way we can make a PNP harness instead?

 

I think MESO has a custom mold for those too, at least it looks that way on my v5’s.

 

Wondering if you can do stock backup camera to A/V plug for an aftermarket head unit. And with a way to do anytime backup camera? I want to get it out of my mirror. Or I might need to do a wireless camera

I believe the factory camera input voltage is 6v though. This is on a 2nd gen.
