    Installed some new SS3 Pro fog lights, after not having fogs ever previously, and not really thinking I needed them. Wow, they are fantastic! Wrote up the process and my take-aways, as usual. And more photos of course.

    After having my SS3 Pro Fogs for over a year now…they are my favorite mod to my truck.

    great product. Don’t be hesitant if you are thinking about buying any DD products. Best lighting out there IMO.

    Just bought it...
    The description on your website says these are not compatible with TRD Pros so what's needed to make them work as in this pic you posted? Obviously I would need to change out my OEM Rigid fog housing for a OEM regular one but what about the plugs?

    Just getting a different plastic bezel as you referenced is all that you need. Plugs are the same.

    Yep. Should be able to find a set of stock Tacoma bezels in a junkyard search. Or, sell your pro rigid fogs with the premise that you'll swap housings with the new owner. That should help offset a little cost too.

    @memario1214. I’ve had these ss3 pros for months now and my neighbor said he would get my truck on his lift and install them for me. Remove tires first to make it easier. I was going to help him help me but I’m recovering from a shoulder surgery. After reading/ studying instructions, it looks ridiculously simple. How long would you feel it ought to take? How is the aiming done? Thanks

    It took me 30 minutes to remove the G4's and install my SS3's, it helps to turn the wheel facing out on the side you're working on. This was on a 2012, not sure how much difference there is on a 2008.

    Here ya go! I would recommend budgeting 2 hours for the install, but you'll find that it probably takes about 1 hour even if you've never done it before. Adjustment is done by turning the ball-head screw that is at the bottom of the light from the back. I'll post up a pic below as well what proper aiming would look like.

    I have a set of the DD on mine and feel I can pretty much drive with just the fog lights alone. Pretty damn bright and impressive. Was on the fence between amber and white and glad I went with the amber. Combined with the LED headlights things aren't so harsh on the roads.
