    You don’t hear the creaking?

I can’t hear it from the outside of the truck with a friend letting it roll over bumps, only inside. It seems to be louder when turning as well

Hey Andy, just to be clear, you lifted an already lifted pro model, so you’re 2.5” over a stock non-pro Tacoma. you’ll be dealing with the same issues that others have when going with a ~2” puck lift.

Check you’re sway bar for contact with your skid plate. I had similar sounding noises once, granted I had the sway bar spacer that came with my suspension.

Did the sway bar spacer resolve the issue?

I think the sway bar spacer created the issue. But was required for my lift to keep the sway from contacting the coil over. Sway has since been removed.

it’s easy to check if you have the clearance there. Look for rub marks on your skid plate.

Could it be the axle itself? That one control arm looks like it had some grease on it.

Just saw that pro’s come 1.5” over other trims. So that actually puts you at 2.5” lift over other trims with the puck.

you’re gonna want to put those SPC arms back on.

you probably should just remove the sway bar and then drive around. It’s a 10 minute job.

The 2022 pro is going to have 1.5” in the front, the 2021 only has 1” if I’m not mistaken.

You don’t need the sway bar?

Here’s some advice to follow as well… you don’t want to break you’re very nice new and expensive front shocks.

I think all pros suspension are the same, 2016+

I don’t need the sway…. You probably do. But it comes off and goes back on real quick. Worth seeing if that’s what makes your noise/creak/thumping go away.

They are, but 2022 they are increasing the lift to 1.5”.

    Worth a shot I guess

Oh interesting. you’re still pushing that ~2” range where issues could begin to arise with these trucks.

Yeah I know there can be some issues with lifting, but I thought a small top plate wouldn’t be an issue. I had a 3/8 top plate on my 2019 Pro and had zero issues.

With a 1/2 top plate do you really need new bump stops? I’ve read that you only need to do that with bigger spacers.

    Appreciating all the input btw

Wouldn’t I be able to hear the sway bar from outside the truck while it’s moving more so than being inside the truck?

Just curious if the fact that I can’t hear it while walking next to the truck with my head by the fender helps us at all
