Considering buying 2020 TRD Pro Wheels & running 285/75/16 tires.
Does anyone know if the offset of those wheels allow that tire size without rubbing the upper control arms?

    A few.
They are about perfect for it since the offset is 1/2" further out than the stock trd wheels. A number if people have done it on here.

The Pro wheels are 16x7 +12 offset I think. I've got 285s on mine and don't rub the control arm but they're aftermarket UCAs

Great, my gut told me it would be fine when I found the offset spec. My truck is lifted so I figured I should be ok. I just needed to some reassurance before pulling the trigger.

    thanks

Dope! I am running Kings & Icon Uppers! So excited to buy these wheels.

Thanks for posting a photo of your Tacoma to give perspective. Looks real clean!

You really should have an 8” rim to run a 285 to avoid ballooning.

I have a -16 rim with a 285 on an 8” rim and my uca is fairly close. Maybe 1/2 inch.. Positive 12 moves the tire in and the thin rim balloons the tire out a bit more so it may be even closer. You can run spacers but it is better to not.

Thanks for chiming in and giving me more to consider. No wheel spacers for me.

Check the APPROVED RIM WIDTH RANGE (IN.) because LT285/75R16s = 7.5-8.0-9.5 wide rim. :notsure:

Yep. That is true but alot of people are running the 285s on the 7" wheels. Going to the 8" wide wheels will likely make a cmc nessesary.
