Up a bit early but I’m headed to the woods this morning anyway. Had alarm set for 420 woke up at 325

 

It’s 4:20 right now. Time to get up.

 

You're a trooper getting up so early. No way I could do it.

 

If I had my way, I’d sleep until about 8:30am, get to work about 11:00, quit at 3 and make the same amount of money that I get now. That’s why they don’t let me make the rules though.




Ps. Friday, I have to be up at 1:30am. That really fukk sup my Saturday.

Settled in the tree

 

and I’m in deep. Settled on my throne. I better get going, I’m starting to get a ring around my arse.

 

Almost 50 degrees . Nice not freezing your ass off but not great for deer movement although bucks are on the move now . We shall see . I’m actually in a stand I usually use for rifle because you can see through the woods over 100 yards between two thick nasty bedding areas

 

I’m in this tree early , but that’s a good thing . Yesterday on the other end of the property I saw around 7 sets of eyes going in . Came around the corner of a logging road about 65 yards from my stand and it stunk like a rutting buck , fresh scrape . He must have just been there . Maybe it was this guy
