    Rims and tires
Hello. Hope all is well. I have two issues id like to get some advice on. I recently bought a 2019 tacoma. I replaced the rims and tires with a larger sized tire and rim this triggered my tpms light. So my first question is even after following the simple directions to initialize the tpms the light will not go off and stay off. How can I fix this? Next question is since I upgraded size on the tires do I still follow the psi rating on the inside of door or should I follow the recommended psi on side of tire. Thanks.

No, TPMS is controlled by the sensors in the wheels. Do your new wheels have sensors installed? Ones from your old wheels or new ones?

It's unlikely 'you' can. The tire shop will need to either install sensors or reprogram the ones in the wheels to sync with your truck

The PSI on the sidewall of any tire is a max pressure. Not a recommendation for normal operation.

Start with the pressure in the jambs. Google the term 'chalk test', then do that to determine the right pressure for your specific truck.

This. Start with the door jam pressure -- it would be helpful to know what size tire you went to.
