When Gas is $5.00 a gallon, what will you do? How will you cope?

What will you do when gas costs $5.00 per gallon? The cost of food and almost all other goods is dependent on cheap oil. How will you cope?

move out of my apartment and live in the back of my tacoma

 

I pretty much pay that now .

 

I drive a company truck so my Taco stays in the garadge

Really, the rest of the world has been paying 4 - 5 bucks a gallon for the past 20 years. And we bitch about $2.50

drive my 97 altima that ive had for eeeons and runs like new still thanks to amsoil!

 

sell my one of my kidneys on the black market. That should be enough for a few months after that...sell some one elses kidneys

 

buy more expensive gas.

 

Drill my own damn oil well and set up a micro refinery in my garage with the money I saved from walking for a month.

probably buy a street bike, my dirt bike isnt cut for the street seeing how its a trail bike. Its nice enough to ride most of the year.

Put my wife on the some corner to hook for a couple hours each day until it gets back to 3 bucks

 

word... my cousin was just visiting from the Philippines, and from what she told me, their gas over there works out to over $4 a gallon...

 

Go on a hunger strike. Every thing I don't eat will be more money for gas.
