Second pedal done. Tremolo. Board is based on a very old design.

So on a whim I bought a travel guitar….(as if I needed another, already have a Martin lxme)

The Orangewood Dana spruce…. Overall I am pretty impressed for the $130 inc a gig bag…. Plays well, intonation is good, of course it does lack a little volume and lower end but that’s just the way small guitars are…. I may swap to some elixir 11g that should help the lower end hopefully….

This is a pretty sweet deal is it not?
Lil old lady a couple towns away is selling it.
Nothing on reverb even comes close to $800.

    Nice!

Tune it down a full step to D and you'll get some bigger sound. Will sound great for blues too.

It is. You should snag that if you're in the market.

I can't stop looking at guitars and I really don't need another lol!

I'll try that.... what is typ6 stock string gauge on these travel guitars???

and if I switch to 11s will it need a truss rod tweek?

Also though the guitar is pretty fantastic I did notice a defect....where the laminate side connects to the binding on the front the laminate is puffy... I have an email to orangewood and we'll see how they handle it....

    Many & varied
Ditto on Jazzmasters. I was always a humbucker guy, playing SGs and Les Pauls, then I played a JM through a Fender amp with the reverb cranked and I was blown away at the warmth, cleanliness, and dreamy feel of it all. I didn't know a guitar could sound that way in my hands. 17 years later and I'm on my third Jazzmaster and the same ol' DRRI amp.

I'm using D'addario lights (12 - 53). You may have to adjust your rod. Just go in tiny amounts if you do. It's really simple. Turn. Check. Turn. Check.

Much want a P90 guitar. Now much more want. I have like five in my cart on reverb. That sunburst you got there is sick. My favorite color way.

 Hi everybody, 2 guitars in my possession currently. My buddies Danelectro he left here almost 10 yrs ago and a 200$ classical that's so covered in stickers I can't remember the brand. Might be a Yamaha..

The classical is ALWAYS in the kitchen or living room within easy reach. The Danelectro has been getting more use lately.

I've been playing for about 10-15 yrs, at least an hour or so every other day
