He does; the problems I have are...
It's gonna be extra warm today
    Rain all day tomorrow
I have to work Fri, Sat, Sun.
I have to have a south wind, it's suppose to be north Monday.
I'll go in there today, then back again Tuesday.

Well after reading all these fine hunting stories and seeing all these find bucks, I though I'd share my season up to this point. Very dismal.
Just not seeing alot. Which is very unusual. Had a nice 6pt come through while a young one was bedded down below me. Yesterday I saw a wall mounter 8 pt. He was just out for a walk.
Took this morning off to get caught up on things.
If I had to put meat in the freezer it would squirrel and raccoon.

    Very nice. Congrats
How much did he weigh, field dressed?

Was outside feeding the cat when a six-point trotted with great concentration (women) down the middle of the fairway at about 7:50am. Not outside his ears yet. Probably why he's still alive. He had his thousand yard stare goin', so I'm pretty sure there were some does around the corner that I couldn't see. One of those timid three little brothers that have been feeding here up until a month or so ago. He was surely muscled up since I last saw him! I guess he has discovered his "special purpose".

I saw one back in the early 90s
Was in the Michigan UP bowhunting. Saw it cross the road as we were going into town. First thing people said when we told them was,
    Were you drinking?
We said, It was 10 0'clock in the morning.
    Ya, but were you drinking?

    Thinking out loud...
The deer was making a scrape, the deer 100% came straight to a grunt call; I'm not a fan of rattling but I think this afternoon I'm gonna crack the bones together :notsure:

And that’s why I’ve always got a sidearm

while it offers little protection from a cat attack, it makes me feel a little more comfortable walking in and out
