Mine cuts out on occasion but I've always found it to be the cord slipping out of the phone not the the dash side.

Yep. Mine was fine for the first month. Now it will disconnect from my phone quite often. Especially when on the gravel roads. I need to wiggle the cord to get it to reconnect.

Happens with all cords and all phones.

    Frustrating.

    Oh look, another mod....
I have a USB drive in mine, it plays all my music. I've never had an issue with it losing connectivity.

I wish it actually played tracks in the correct order instead of alphabetically

You do know you can change that, right? You can select by name, genre, folder, etc...

There is an app that I use to organize all of my music (MP3Tag). Then I select the correct "way" on my head unit in the truck.

You all use a USB stick to play music?
Curious... does the quality of the music sound better than Bluetoof connectivity?
I swear bluetooth connected music gets degraded vs a CD. Maybe its just me.

    True.

I wish USB would allow random selection play.

Again...you can change that. When you pull up the screen to play your USB Music, in the bottom right hand corner is a folder. You can tap it. It will either play the next track in order, repeat a track or select a random track.

If the folder is blue with a circle, that is the "Random Track" option.

Hmmm... It's been over a year since I tried, but any time I chose an album to play, it played the songs in alphabetical order and I didn't see any other options to change that other than rename all my songs to start with the track number before the name.

Not anymore, because it played all my music in alphabetical order instead of by track number. It might sound better than bluetooth, but I don't know if I'd hear the difference over the road/traffic noises. I just like the convenience of the music always being there plugged into the stereo and not having to mess with my phone.
