I’m looking into suspension for this new truck not wanting to go all out and dump a ton of money either. I had my eye on the 6112/5160 combo but looking around there are tons to choose from. So before I pull the trigger what’s some thoughts from you guys?

Truck is a 2019 TRD sport that the previous owner installed some stock size nitto tires on a set of method nv wheels. I’m looking to level the truck for now and when the tires wear out install a set of 275/70r17 then also bump the truck up a little more to a 2/1” with a rear mini pack.

Duties are mainly a pavement princess, used to haul my mountain bikes around, camp with the family, fire roads when in the mountains. Looking for a nice ride between the factory or and sport. No aftermarket bumpers/winch

    6112/5160
    Eibach 2.0 coilover
    Fox 2.0 coil over
5100’s if they will do all I need

I have fox 2.0s set to ~1.5 inches of lift. The ride is so much better than the stock Hitachi's

I have 265/75/16 with no rubbing and I think I can fit a 275/75/16 as well. I've been thinking about 285s but I don't want to chop up my cab mounts yet

I'm in the same boat, trying to find the setup with the best ride quality.

I had 5100's up front and 5160's in rear. I hated the ride as it was not smooth at all. Rather than feeling firm and planted, it felt jolty, bouncy. I kept the 5160's in the rear along with HD dakar leafs but upgraded the front with Elka 2.0's 700lb coils..couldn't be happier..Smooth as butter.

At first I thought I got 650 coils by mistake since all I ever heard was that 700lb coils give a stiff ride w/o bumpers, sliders ect.. but later confirmed they were indeed 700's. Just goes to show you it's all in the valving.

I would add them to the list of options.

I bought them on headstrongoffroad.com. I believe I payed aroung 1200? May be a bit pricey but "Buy once cry once" is true down to the last word. Wish I wouldve gotten them right out of the gate.
