What accessories have you bought in anticipation of your incoming 2022?

What parts are in your garage in advance of your Tacoma in your driveway?

I generally like to feel the vehicle and what I need first..but long delivery times for trucks+long lead times for accessories+some gray hair and years of car experience led me to start accumulating stuff-either small and unique (Tworld member items, Meso stuff) or large with a long lead time (cap+sliders+wheels+dual battery setup) or a good deal (bed mat).


So far I have:

Leer 100xr (ordered!)

Westcott sliders-powdercoated Lazar black

2020 TRD Pro wheels-powdercoated Lazar black to match the sliders

Off Grid Engineering dual battery kit (minus batteries!)

TRD skid plate- powdercoated Lazar black to match the sliders

Bed mat

Center console organizer tray

Painted fender flares-two used from craigslist, two new from Toyota

SR5 grille (used/new takeoff from eBay)-I like it better

Meso interior lights

Meso headlight trim pieces

Meso Gashole

Decals to replace Leer decals from Etsy vendor

From forum members-T tap harnesses for topper, Toyota keychain, Toyota coin tray

Still looking for-‘dumb key’ blank

Lots of this stuff took a while to get! Will be nice to have it ready when the truck comes. What do you have in the works?

 

Some other things I like are the glove box organizer from Amazon, OEM bed lights, OEM tailgate lock, & Spiker Engineering hood struts.

 

What did I order in anticipation of 2022?

You are a braver man than I. I would be scared shitless ordering thousands of dollars worth of stuff for a truck I didn't have yet, especially expensive stuff that's color specific like the cap. That's a lot of returns if something goes south, assuming you aren't past the return window.

On a more positive note, I can understand the anticipation and the excitement. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

 

Thought about getting a 2022 Trail for the wheels. Swapping in some OR takeoffs and trading it back in. Probably should pull the heritage grill too.

 

I picked up my SW ‘22 SR5 last week. In anticipation for its arrival, I purchased the following prior to actually getting it:
1) Bartrac para cord headrest handles in black and red
2) MESO cement door handle covers
3) A variety of TufSkinz red/black and cement interior accessories.
4) Center console organizer and glovebox organizer
5) Tacoma Lifestyle sequential turn signals for side mirrors (smoked/amber)
6) Blackout badges
7) Taco Vinyl decals
8) Window vents
9) Tint - moved my appointment d/t work conflict

Interior will be black/cement/red. Am I crazy?

Ordered or waiting for Black Friday deals
1) Bed mat
2) Seat covers
3) Cold air intake
4) Tonneau
5) Carven cat-back (will it fit on ‘22???) I looked on website but don’t see why it wouldn’t?
6) Hood struts - Redline ordered but just learned about Spiker. Which is best? I’m not too mechanical and a little nervous to drill, but the videos seem like Redline is pretty easy.

Lift:
Next Spring - thanks for all the advice here. Leaning toward OME or Toytech
Wheels/tires:
Depends on lift. Tires will be A/T and 32-33”. Wheels will be black.
Looking for a nice stance but it’s my daily driver and my turkey hunting rig (fire roads)

2022 AG TRD Off Road should be here first week of December. Haven’t bought as much as others, but ordered a few things.
Guns and ammunition was already a planned expenditure before the truck was a thought and has been that way for at least the last 19 years.
