Taillights with Daylight running lights?

Anyone know of an easy way to have taillights on with the running lights? I like the idea of the DRL's, but would be more comfortable with taillights on. I currently run my headlights on when driving, but the DRL's are seen better in the daylight.
I drive a 2014.

 

Turn on your parking lamps and leave them on all the time. They will shut off when the engine does and come on when you start it.

This time of year it's dark when I leave home and dark when I leave work. I just leave my headlight switch on all the time

 

Will the DLR's be on with the parking lights on?

 

Yes....the DRLs will be on with the parking lights as long as the headlights are not on. Just leave the switch in the parking lamp position all of the time. When you shut off the engine and open the driver's door they will turn off automatically.

You may have to adjust your head unit display to "daytime" during the day or it might be a little dim. You can find that under the gear icon to the right.

Make sure your parking brake is released for the DRLs to come on after an initial start

 

First world challenges! Hack off the DLR pin and relay the tails or turn on the lights if it is dark enough. Rear facing DLRs while logical assume the stupid fucks tailgating can recognize your brake lights in low contrast light conditions better, worse or the same, and being that at least half the drivers are looking at their cellphone I’d suspect tail DLRs would be a net loss of safety.
