Just dicking around on the configurator earlier and noticed Toyota now offers the SX package with a V6. Fantastic, so I price one out and hit the little detail PDF and it shows me 4.30 gears with the 3.5 automatic.

Well, that’s not right… or is it? Checked other V6 configs and they say 3.90. 4 cylinder shows 4.30 like it should, SR5 and TRD trims all show 3.90, but a base SR spits out 4.30.

Sure would be nice if Toyota would give us the 4.30 with the auto, I’m sure the constant shifting bs would be helped greatly with the steeper gears.

Anyone with a newer V6 SR want to check and see if it’s just a Toyota screwup or something real?

I have an SX and have no idea what ratio I have.
    How would I find out?

I think it's because of the shocks and sunroof.

The Axle Code should be on the door sticker.

Yours is a 4cyl though, right? I am primarily interested in a V6 apparently configured that way. Probably a typo but sure would be nice. 4.30s is how they should have come from factory with that super high OD
