What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I have only had 1 horn the last 2 months since installing mine, still too lazy to extend my harness so I’m right there with ya haha

Added a license plate frame. I had to cut about a 1/4 inch off the bottom plastic piece so you could still read the characters but I'm happy. I've been looking for a subtle Statler Toyota plate frame for a while.

 

Got this thing installed in my truck. I will need new connectors to use the electrical features granted by the IS300 wheel and clockspring, but I can enjoy this wheel until then. I would love to find some grey leather that matches my dash. If so, I will reupholster the steering wheel in that.

Yeah no clue. I plan on tearing into it at some point to find out, and I also want to rebuild it.

 

Got the story done for the full rebuild of my ADS setup. Was awesome, with help from Tim @TMFF, Tyler at ADS, and several TW members (@Digiratus, @drr, and @Speedytech7). Oh, and Matt at @M C M came through as well when we had a question...

My son and I started making progress with a bed platform, I think is going to change a lot and open up some possibilites.



Did a rough test fit tonight and everything is where it's supposed to be at so far.

 

I picked up a grinder and did some Frenching...

That depth looks perfect.

I went on a 800+ mile trip up to MA and VT this past weekend. Everything from wheelin hard ledges, to exploring more mild class IV roads, including one that led me to an awesome mountain top campsite.

Truck performed flawlessly though, thing I finally have my longer trip camping setup finally dialed in.

 

Thanks, kinda uncharted territory for me but I'm pretty pleased with the cut in depth. Now I gotta match the other side haha

 

Then what happens to the Tank?

 

Left turn signal was acting wonky for years now....did the fast blink thing. Super annoying. $55 turn signal switch from Amazon and five minutes. Problem fixed. Should have done that a long time ago.....

Also bought some used 16 X 8 steel wheels in preparation for Tundra brake upgrade. And maybe beadlock conversion. Who knows.

 

Was a contingent sale.... But guess not
