Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Went back and finished cleaning up new headlight wiring after putting some miles on it to make sure of no bad connections. Also sealed the paint and getting ready for winter.

Right now in California outside of the higher prices like Sacramento that many gallons would be about $75. Into Sacramento and it would be $80 or more.

Nice looking truck. What kind of milage would you be expecting out of those Micky Thompsons with mostly highway?

Yup. I love rooftop tents and I’ll never say never to buying one, but I already have several ground tents that I use for moto camping and for me right now, the pros for a rooftop just don’t outweigh the cons. I haul motos often too, so I need bedspace. Doesn’t make sense to drop $2-4k on a rooftop tent for sleeping & setup convenience when it turns everything else that I want to do into a big hassle, would cause me to buy even more gear & cause me to revamp a camping setup that has served me well for decades. There’s just no value there for me.

Thanks, I’m contemplating the black and red TRD wheel center caps and maybe some interior accents

thanks, brother. I’m super happy with the build so far.

So last weekend I drove down to Savannah from Atlanta, about 256 miles, and I averaged right at 12MPG.

The first mod was the rock sliders and I was averaging around 18MPG hwy. Then the whole roof and bed rack system came at the same time as the Mickey’s so I did one big install… and watched 5MPG vanish.

Newbie here. Figure I would post.

Fabbed my own brake line bracket for my Icon AAL 51100. Currently installing Eibach Pro kit.

The Icon AAL instructions doesn't address what to do with the brake line bracket when the overload spring is removed.

Wow, crazy. I do like that aggressive look though. I have Yokohamas just because they have been good to me in the past but the next set I may have to go that little extra.

Yes i did it my self , its not that hard as long as u have some water with s little bit of soap in it so i can move the decal around, then a nice squeegee to remove air bubbles.

I ran Yokohamas on my first truck about 20 years ago and absolutely loved them. But I had a friend in HS who had an old ‘87 or ‘88 Tacoma with some Mickeys on it and it clearly really stuck with me.

Sounds awesome! I’m thinking of doing fox 2.5 and 285’s since I daily mine. Maybe 35’s in the future. Even half ton trucks struggle with it

Fast forward two months ago I flew out to St Louis Missouri on a one way airplane flight. After searching here in California and all the dealers wanting 10-15k over MSRP I was able to get in touch with a sales manager at the Toyota Dealer and work out a deal with no price increase of any kind. They had the exact build and color allocated to arrive at their dealer in which I had been looking for the past 4months with no luck. I received a phone call from my sales manager that the truck had arrive that same night I was on an airplane to St Louis. Got picked up by a sales associate from the airport in the morning then just signed and was on my way to California on a 2k mile road trip.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
    Nice story!

And I had to "accept" the first AC stick shift that my local dealer called to tell me was on the lot. The usual "original order backed out "

I wanted Cement, got Barca Red. (actually, Red is the Fastest color!)

No plane fare, the dealer is only 30 miles away ;-)

Bummed. I got hit by a motorcyclist today. Thank god I had dash cam footage showing he was in my lane and he hit me. No contest according to highway patrol.

Ruined my mud flap and tore into my tire sidewall. Also ruined my powder coated wheel.
