Time for the fun part @BartMaster1234 IMG_20211111_105135799.jpg

Also, man the electronics industry is in shambles right now. Had to use old VFD's on this one. And that PLC wasnt easy to acquire either.

When I got the truck it was weeping a little bit to begin with. I ran out of steering fluid on the trail and filled it up with some 5W30 motor oil and it stopped weeping. I'm guessing the seal conditioners in there worked well.

That didn't really fix the problem, though. It still weeps and pulls air into the system to the point it cavitates and foams over.

I never noticed before til trying to bleed the system again after putting in the new reservoir. The initial problem was the pump also pulling air when the fluid level in the reservoir dropped below the level of the pump inlet due to the displacement of the ram or any incline. That is why I just went to a res 2.5x the size of the factory one.

The shaft isn't pitted/bent that I can tell so I could probably seal slap it and go but being cheap/lazy has never worked out in the end for me...

I'm not saying it's a good idea but fresh ATF with a 1/4 cup of brake fluid will swell them seals up good . .

Supercharged and linked, and the body isn't a raisin, this is uber sus. It's gotta have rod knock or horrible link geometry that makes it handle like a cartoon banana peel

Case was opened up by the guy that sold it to me. So I had to reseal it.

I have worse example R150Fs that need bearings and synchros. And now that I have my press and some giant pullers it should be possible. Just wish I knew why Cobra transmissions was the only place that sold a rebuild kit for the 95.5+ R150F.

I don't have an answer for that, but I have bought stuff from them and they're pretty good folks. One of these days I'll have to do the 1st gear on my 150 since it like to pup out of first occasionally.

My reverse whines really loud on my 99. The other two are just in really bad shape and need to be fully gone through. I'd say you could try the marlin shifter seat and bushing but I know you've probably already done that.

It's real bad. We're trying to switch from allen bradley PLC's at work to B&R, but they quoted us like 20 months or something dumb.
Can't even get industrial raspberry pi PLC's.

Define raisined. The body is pretty beat up. At least it's still got paint on it though

You I've got the marlin shifter bits, first is just giving up I think. It's a pretty easy swap, but I don't use first a ton where i don't have my hand on the stick anyway to get ready for 2nd. Reverse is always loud because it is straight cut, so I wouldn't worry
