If you make your way to storage and want to sell it let me know. I am going to need to find one before we get to much snow up here.

I was just thinking about you. I was in my favorite store yesterday. They moved to a new 54,000 square foot warehouse because Amazon bought their last location.

It’s interesting you mentioned how the industry is in shambles. I met an electrical engineer buying a roll of SMD transistors for his silicon manufacturing company because buying it from a place like this is the only way you can get it due to the chip shortage. Use new old stock stuff or locate used components.

sprayed wd on the bit and brace yesterday while going back at it with the drill, boy does it make a difference. Even with the bits being a bit dulled it halved my time. Just need to do the other side now :anonymous:

and start using ear plugs bc the shell makes sound 10x louder

How much to fill it? My Gas light came on this morning for the 1st time since I got it. I'm actually excited to fill it up and figure out what my gas mileage is going to be.

It really is, my old company is having a hell of a time sourcing parts for panel builds. Thankfully at my new place I've switched us over to a VFD vs the contactor panel they used to build for us and we haven't noticed a slow down in availability. I use Invertek drives if that's worth anything to you

I’m considering going into your field. I’m looking at an Associates in industrial automation after I finish my Bachelors.

Like a full gauge cluster swap? I’ve seen that but I’m not sure on the wiring aspect of it, and would like to keep my odometer.

Ha! Very funny. Honestly if I do a swap, it’ll be down the road as a 2GR. I like the sound too much. Right now I have everything (except head studs) for my rebuild of the original 4age. Built for a turbo (future) and 9k rpm

You can swap out the odo and it should already be wired for tach. Depending on the mileage you might find one close enough or just have it adjusted to match.

It's fantastic fun but if you want to do anything more than maintenance, you'll need more than an associates degree unfortunately

Do you need color? If you don't need color go by one of the small brother laser printers. They have the most affordable toner they don't have a ton of extra features and they just work.
