    I am glad you went that route and it was easily resolved. Sorry l can't remember details of what happened but your key didn't end up working to unlock the door since the battery was out right?

    Can get a similar wedge at any hardware store. Also often states allow you to purchase these items as well that are more for gaining entry....should check out a plastic wedge too with the air to save progress.

    Exactly, my dumbass took out the battery, closed the hood and manually locked the doors thinking I could just use the key to get back in. Didn't work without the battery in and couldn't put the battery in because the hood was latched.

    I haven’t read every single post but am I not seeing someone recommend using the Toyota app(as crappy as it can be sometimes) to unlock the truck?
