That has a BDU-10 hydro like my XT3. That is basically a medium duty GT with LT wheels on it. It can plow and pull a box blade if set up right

It did seem very smooth. I had non of the herky, jerky feel you expect with cheap belt driven units.

I'm still a ZT fan bouy at heart.

Screw that "step on another pedal to activate reverse"!

I need a shop. Guess it could be a small shop (19’x50’).

My wife wanted a shop and I didn’t want to build one. So my queen found a different way to spend 60k.
Now before you all call me a flippen moron, I don’t want to stay in CO when I retire at 50 (couple years). I will probably build a 38’x26’ detached garage just in case I get a long box truck.

I retired at 52. I'm challenging you to beat me!

I've found I'm very happy with smaller. I don't like having to waste time walking across the shop to get a random tool and put it back.

My starter shop was 40 by 56. It was nice, but it was much more work staying organized. Tools 50' away from their home took a long time to get back to where they belonged.

I'm not unhappy at all with my 800 square feet.

    Challenge accepted sir. :D

This is why I was reluctant to build a big ol' 60x40. My 816 square foot is hard enough to keep clean and junk free.

Well, this damn thing is running again - just in time to put it away for the winter.

This is the one that a tree fell on, it would run randomly, I think the coil had a crack around the kill terminal.

Started right up, and ran like the choke was on - carb was full of black crunchy like stuff holding the needle open.

Probably will shaft me again in the spring, never had any luck with green tractors. Of course all the ones I have had were old and cheap.

I'm old and cheap. Does that mean we can never be friends?

    2nd challenge...

Retired at 46, 1st shop 40x60 with a 20x40 attached carport, plus oversized 2 car attached garage to house and a detached brick 3 car garage. I only use 1/3 of the shop, the rest could be a barndo. A couple more years here(we have boys in highschool) and we will downsize and build at the farm.

That would have been awesome! However, I'm 47 now so that can't be had.:( It truly is amazing you could. :hattip:

What do you do for healthcare? I'm still trying to figure that one out. My wife is almost 4 years younger than I and she will be able to go at 50 as well. So those four years will be covered. Like you, I will have two girls still in school.

Off to the healthcare market place and carry a HUGE deductable.

Basically pay cash until you hit 10k. It sucks.

No one wins with HC. We all get boned.

We are lucky enough to not require any specialized health care...so far.

It's a constant battle. Not sure if it's nice to have the time to deal with that or not.

I have heard of even higher deductibles (17K).

I'm going to get some information from a co-worker and I will PM you. It all depends on your annual income and some programs. If I wanted to go this route, my wife and I would have to get a divorce on paper. Not everyone is willing to do this of course.

Mine is the same, it just limits the damage.
I told my doctor I had a "hurricane policy", he laughed.

Ahhhh. Makes sense. Retired military. That's at least what we can do for your service.

I was looking in your city (the suburb) and there are some nice area's to live. It blows my mind what someone can get a house for down there. Checking out the market though, looks like a pretty good spike in values in the last three years.

Next year I bet when intrest rates increase, the house prices will level off and probably slightly decline. And our house will be for sale in 2 to 4 years. I'm about 35 to 40min from downtown, in Wilson country and can see downtown SA from our side yard.

First big winter storm of the year, an Alberta Clipper, and I'm two hours up the from home and the Kubota going to work. First flight out of the day, should be leading the pack to the de-ice pad and the runway. Nope!! Catering truck hot stuck in a snowbank and needed a tow. Lav truck out of commission. Potable water hose frozen. And our gate was the only one not plowed out. Shitty picture, but what it shows is one of the airports big Cat front end loaders being used to push our tug, which couldn't get traction to push back our plane. Let the fun and games commence.
