    So synopsis so far:
SPC UCAs removed, back to stock
    Top plate spacers removed
    Sway bar removed
    Everything retorqued and lubed

Still getting that soft creaking, thudding, knocking noise (not a squeak), most notable when at low speeds going over small bumps and turning.

Next plan is to replace the front cab mount bushings (Monday). Then after that idk where to go..

If it’s creaking my guess is it’s the body mount bushings. They seem to make noise for people I’ve read as low as 1500 miles.

I’m hoping it’s this. My only worry is that sometimes I think I get the noise just turning my steering wheel even while stopped

Yes but when you turn the wheel one way or the other the load is ever so slightly shifting which could affect it.

Fingers crossed the new bushings fix it. I guess it’s a relief to know it’s not the top plates

    list is growing fast
It’s possible that the bushings got heated/melted when cutting/welding the cab mount. They’re not that robust to start with. You’re narrowing it down and will get it figured out soon dude.

What kind of lubricant can I use on the top of my coil overs, I’m wondering if the creaking is coming from the top where the top plates slide into (front strut, is that the name?)

I had the same noise I chased for a while. Or at least it sounds like its the same noise.

Shop tech at a local 4x4 shop "slightly over torqued" the cam bolts on the lower control arm and its been almost a year. NO noise.

Do you have a picture of where the cam bolt is, is this something I can loose on my own?

And are you saying the cam bolt being over torqued was the issue, or was it loose and torquing it fixed it?

Tech told me that sometimes they need to be slightly over torqued from spec or they make noise.

That’s really the only info I remember. Was just pumped it stopped doing it, and hasn’t since.
