This is more of a question then anything. I have a 3rd gen crew cab TRD off-road. I haven’t done many mods to it yet as I’ve only owned it for about 6 months, however I have started to mod it, ive put a mbrp exhaust on the truck and I love it. The next mod I was looking at was either a leveling kit or a set of rims. The rims I want just came back on sale for a reasonable price and I was wondering if y’all had any input on whether I should hold off on the rims and get a leveling kit first or get the rims first? Thanks for the help.

Do you have plans to get bigger tires after you get the leveling kit?

Right now I have K02's that are 32's and I plan on keeping them for their life span due to my location and the weather I get here, after they reach the end of their lifespan I will be getting larger tires around 33-35's

The only problem that I see with this video is that you make it look so incredibly easy, that someone like myself, might make a really dumb assumption that they could install those themselves and end up with disastrous results, along with a dismantled truck in their driveway for months lol great video. I’ve probably watched it a dozen times!

And the OEM power tailgate lock kit was $141 total to my front door from BAM. 509F7E32-7C35-4722-AD7F-7C988FE0856A.jpg 2AAE92E4-52F4-4460-ADEA-701FB5C947D7.jpg 08CEBE3E-9BF9-4DF3-9074-61CB64F76AFF.jpg D496829C-16D7-44FB-9AC9-17A1C495507A.jpg Like some others that have posted about installing the tailgate lock kit, once I removed the single wire loom connectors and replaced them with the double loom clips, (a complete PITA), the rest of the install is easy. Just a lot of running the wire loom and a lot of zip ties! But I love being able to use the key FOB and knowing it’s locked and my gear is safe.

Lol. It took a lot of other videos on YouTube to guide me through the process, combined with instructions included with the parts. I had multiple tabs on Youtube open to make sure I was on the right track. After doing it, I would say it's a lot of work but not necessarily difficult. Thanks for watching man!

Nothing worth taking pictures of yet but I did install factory Limited fog lights into my 17 Tacoma SR which was a pain. Toyota does not have a harness for them in the SR models so I combined a aftermarket kit and part of a fog light harness out of a wreaked Camry to get things working. Also installed a tonneau cover made by Tonno that clears my bed rails which had been a long search for.
Will post it soon but I am also making a lot of changes to my base SR interior this month when I put the truck in storage next week. Just installed a chrome tailgate handle and surround as well. The chrome was to much so I had it tinted with red clearcoat to match my truck and it looks great with the handle being the only chrome part showing.

Just wanted to report that using Turtle Wax Ceramic Hybrid on the Lomax cover works awesome. Even though it’s a rough texture, it leaves no residue and is easy to spray on/wipe down.

We were out SUV shopping for her and ran across this Taco at the Chevrolet dealership. She ended up getting a 2016 Tahoe LT Police Edition

What is a police edition? Is it just a previously own police car?

Love the interior set up. Who makes your 2 way and how did the install go?
