If you had to pick a place, where would you chose?

I am thinking the DS or Deckers or maybe an alpine lake for secludedness.

if i had to pick id say deckers or just north east of there. I'm down in springs and mostly fish in pueblo during the winter. im not too familiar with any alpine lakes and the few ive been to i haven't had any luck.

im guessing deckers is about the same distance for most people from springs and denver

My Fly fishing skills suck - just started to learn this past summer/fall after spin fishing for 60 plus years. Some time down the road I would appreciate some advice to sharpen my skills and selection of flies. As for now - I am hoping next spring as there is no way I would attempt now just 3 weeks in from my full knee replacement. Love the pics.

Anyone need a gear bag? I have a Fishpond Cimarron Wader Duffel that i'd be willing to let go. Its in great condition and i love it but doesnt fit in my T4R roof box so.. looking to clean out the gear closet.

Price: $145 seems fair for you guys.

I started fishing a "river" for the first time this week. Everything else has been a "creek". I may have picked a bad time to check out the Deckers area stretch of SPR since the flows were very low for CPW to do their survey. But, I managed to get one to the net... and while using a two-fly rig which may be a first for me (usually I end up with a bird's nest, cut it free, and go back to one fly). This is such a pretty area.

very pretty area!! Roll casting instead of back casting should help prevent the birds nest.

And while I'm waiting for my 2nd repair on my orvis, I broke my Winston yesterday. :annoyed: I guess we'll see how their warranty is.
