Front diff leaking gear oil from the breather

    Not me. Dawn dish soap seems to work better than most. I even use it mixed in a spray bottle to clean up after working. I use it on stuff I don’t want to use brake clean on it. Spray it on let it sit for about 10 mins. Hose down with water.

    Reviving this thread, Im having an issue where my diff vent nipple and the hose that connects on the top of the front diff on my 3rd gen popped off and was leaking oil. At first I thought it was a bad sealant leak. After closer examination it’s the hose since it’s a little loose on the fitting. ive since reattached it (what a pain that was). Even though it’s attached, it’s still slowly dripping out. Here are some photos. Any thoughts? Could my breather be clogged building any pressure? Really not sure what to do…

    you can see the oil dripping down the diff as well. This photo was taken before I reattached the hose. Also for context, ecgs front and rear swap ins, with 5.29s and 85w 140
