Glad to hear it! I was just getting back on to tell you where to get it. Glad you were able to get it flashed with the appropriate file. You'll be better off for sure running that as a base calibration and then tuning on top of that.

Yep. That's exactly my thinking. I used vcm scanner and did a few driving logs, and the only odd thing I see is there seems to be no change to manifold pressure. The guy had a boost gauge, so I could definitely see it changing. Like I said, used to the Subaru world, but does this thing not have a MAP sensor, or did he not install it when installing the SC (I'm assuming if it did have one, it woulda been on the stock manifold).

    It's DLX son!
No factory map sensor, and not something that gets added with the SC kit

Not quite — the 10 or so bolts that gold the lid down are good. The single bolt that holds the inter cooler to the lid between the coolant barbs is the one I need.
It happens to be bigger than the lid bots and I guess an m7 as well.

Was just watching a vid on finding exhaust leaks, is this a legit way/safe way? He had car turned off, put shop vac in exhaust tip, turned on vac to create positive pressure, then used soapy water to spray on and find leak, like how you'd do on a tire tube. I'm pretty sure I got leaks near the crush washers after I installed the headers and everything and have been meaning to check on it for a while

dont ever do that. if the vaccuum is anything but brand new it will feed your motor dirt from the hose. my 2cents as i use a vac in construction daily.
if its used as a blower.

thinking all day how i would address an exhaust leak. id try a cold start with liquid soap applied to the area suspected. id remove the throttle body, plug the tailpipe, and use an air compressor (with water seperator) to gently air up the intake with a makeshift cover. if the compressor was distanced you should hear the area at fault. maybe use a litte soap to help. anyone here think this idea is:censored: or worth a go?

Smoke machine. Hold an open flame next to the suspected area and see if it becomes disturbed by the exhaust leak.

    i cons
i considered that. thought the mechanical fan would interfere if the header area was to be tested. that and my dumbass might have an incident with fire.

Took a run against a flat black 2nd gen taco last on the interstate 5 up to 100 or so from about 60 mph. We were both slow but I was slower. Not sure if he was s/c or geared right but he pulled so fast before my AT shifted. Sigh .. still need to regear and about 150 more hp to be happy

Need more specs but tires would be my first guess like @Lucario Runner noted. I ran up against a stock 3rd gen and we were neck and neck before I let off (wasn't the best place for it) but he was a stock lifted 3rd gen and my truck is grossly overweight on 315's. If I was in stock form a much different story. I feel even with a heavy truck the increase in tire weight is one of the biggest killers. When I was moderately heavy on 285's with a tune and gears the truck felt quick when I added 315s no S/C it was a big difference. S/C brought back some lift but still feels sluggish compared to the before (also have 6-700lbs more on the truck now with the rear swingout/tires/etc.

You want to try my more aggressive throttle mapping? It’ll feel a bit spunkier.

Could it have anything to do with your 40” tires and stock gears? You’d be lucky to take a stock truck right now, even with the supercharger!
