I wasn't even familiar with 911MS. Must have came out pretty recently. I didn't bother with the wheels or making a skid plate, though, so I think I got out under $120 shipped for the extension, adapter, and (entirely too many) shims from McMaster-Carr.

A little more beef for the rear.

Did the front a couple of weeks ago. Huge difference in drivability. So much better.

    image.jpg

Only gained about an inch and a half on the front so threw in a block in the back to level for now. I still have the leaf pack with an aal but I ran out time before I could install them. So I’ll get to them soon.

    Wow those are beefy.

Control arm mounts for linking the front/rear? Did you make those?

Have no idea what I'm doing, but I'll figure it out by the time I get finished.

Looks like you are making your truck heavier after making it lighter.

    It's all relative. lol

It'll probably end up the same weight as it was... only with more shit on it.

Meanwhile I'm sitting light as fuck on a pair of new Deavers, thinking: I'm gonna need to make my truck heavier.

Stage 3s. Took all of 4 days to show up. Probably going to wait for Billy to finish up the rear bumper before installing them.

    Much appreciated.
I have hangers on order and need to finally order new springs. My factory ones look sad. Due to my propensity to carry a lot of crap in the rear, I will also need to go with stage 3.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Once I do the Chevy 63s, weight should be less of an issue.

Although, with everything off the truck, and now on 5.29 gears, the truck is pretty fun to drive right now. I'd bet we would not be going anywhere near as slow over Sonora Pass as we did last time. (for one)

Whips around corners, nice and peppy from a stop... but alas... I'll start strapping the boat anchors back on it soon.
