Usually mid-40's if I was being conservative. if a particular stretch of road came up that interested me, it dropped considerably ly. I actually look forward to the gas stops, it gives me a goal on long rides.

 

Found this on a Japanese website. Ordered and saved over $150 and a 3/4 month backorder wait time (probably in port of LA)

so not even 9 am here, and ive already spent $250

 

My FJR1300 usually averages around 44 mpg. Highest I remember was close to 46, lowest was 2-up in SD when we spent some time at triple digit speed when it dropped to about 27. Obviously that was on a closed course not a public highway.......

LS2 Blaze adventure helmet review - went out today for a quick ride up to about 65mph. Either there is less padding and more vents or I haven't rode in a month, but it seems like i can hear more exhaust - compared to my Icon Airmada. I have some other pads on order. Its also amazing what a new wind screen will do. I can see everything and there are no bug splatters. Internal sun visor is cool, but takes 2 hand operation to lower. Maybe that will get better over time. I still have a little discomfort in my left hand, from my accident a month ago. No issues with the peak either

overall, I think its worth the 160 that i paid.

I volunteered to work yesterday, and the guy who was working with me, didn't do anything, so i had to pick up his slack. I am tired of this week. Today and tomorrow of work, then it's the weekend.

Also, it's going to be my first time towing a trailer, so might be interesting.. at least ill be extremely careful

 

Backing up can be tricky until you get the hang of it... are you coming to PA?

Im not riding 2.5 hours when the high is 48. Just need to get the bike in my possession and then it can sit until spring
