Also as we previously saw, 2.5 hours on my scrambler on 95, would be horrible

Don't forget the time he found a dirt road, went until he saw a puddle, then turned around and went home and never washed the dirt off to keep the scrambler cred.

Also, proof i've offroaded mine (have done so many times, for the record..)

How? How did you manage to pull that off with hand guards on?

Are the indents on there sacrificial to save the rest of the pivot, y'think? The F800 has those too and I always just assumed it was a design choice instead of actually having a function and creating an intentional weak spot.

Well, I completed my goal for the 2021 riding season. I hit 30,000 miles on my ‘07 Ninja EX250.
This bike has been with me since day one and I learned everything on it.
    Onward to 2022!

    Congrats!

And thank you for stopping to get that pic. I hate seeing photos like that when the vehicle is doing 80.

Those hand guards are weak and as shit and plastic. I’m surprised they didn’t break.
It’s a design feature, better to snap off than crush fingers. I usually ride with two fingers covering the clutch and brake.

Guess I didn’t realize the OEM hand guards didn’t have an aluminum spine in them. I also cover. I electrical taped up my the middle of my levers yesterday to try and keep my fingers a little bit warmer in the mornings. Went from the indent in to about a wrap of tape up the curve part. Hopefully it helps a little.

How much does BMW want for a new lever?
