thats what we did, too. But when heating said burrito, using an 85 Dodge Ram pickup was probably not the best choice for a heating element. Turns out they had a horrible track record for engine fires. Lol

Plus, you know….not the best vehicle to have near ”priority” resources.

Just did the second coat of turtle wax ceramic coat. Before the weather turns sour. Got to take the old truck out for a ride. Before they start salting the roads next week. Snow in the forecast. Really sucks. Probably going to be five months before can you take to the roads again. With the old Ride. But that is where I live.21A4FF39-55C0-4D03-96C2-81441550EC48.jpg21A4FF39-55C0-4D03-96C2-81441550EC48.jpg23895EC6-7C45-458C-AB6B-42F19047262E.jpg

A result of the govt bailing out Chrysler Motors in 1980. That’s why nearly all GOVs were Chrysler products straight into the 90s.

Truth be told though, our warhorse pickup was good ol’ serial number 2810- an absolute immortal beast of a truck that devoured any task given it. That SOB is legendary in the hallowed halls of 20th Air Force, the 91st Missile Wing, and 91st VECF.

How are you liking the Havoc running boards...? I'm about to pull the trigger on some as they are the look I'm going for.
I ordered some Armordillo boards and the order was just cancelled... back ordered forever.

Same conclusion after installing my SS3 fogs a few months back. They throw more light the OEM halogen lights, and I've got the sports.

yep. This the creation of the infamous Peacekeepers. A Dodge Ram pickup overloaded with solid steel body. Biggest pieces of crap ever invented and accepted for military service. Can’t count the number of roll overs we had in those things. Plus nowhere to secure ammo cans or A-bags. It was like being a bean in a giant maracas.

    Lol

Nice! I'll have to try this on my OEM tonneau cover.

Put fog lights in the SR today. Not 100% sure they are aimed properly.

The good ol’ PK, ha ha. All my SF buddies called them meatlockers. I never had the ‘privilege’ of riding in one and for that, I’m grateful. ART Team K5 Blazers were pretty rad though. Ford F250 crewcabs w/ Reading boxes like this were standard for me.

Funny you mention rollovers too because for about a year and DIRECTLY attributed to SF rolling PKs, our wing commander made it policy that ONLY Team Chiefs could drive. I’d be out on a site busting my ass all day after leaving base and driving for 2 hours in blizzard conditions at 0600 with everybody snoring on the way out only to drive home in those same conditions at 2000 hrs while my crew & SET team snored all the way home. I’m sure you can appreciate how difficult it is to stay awake to drive in a warm truck after busting your ass for 14 hours in -30° ambient while 3-4 guys are sacked out in the cab with you. I wised up after a few trips and said ‘If you all are gonna sleep while I have to drive, my window is coming all the way down and Slayer is getting pegged at level 20 on the stereo.’

Completely understand, brother! Not a lot of function gained for $250, that’s for sure.
