So, been busting ass all night. Bumper off, cut, and ready to go on in the morning. About another hour's work, and it's time to start on the Kings.

It occurred to me, I don't believe the C4 reinforcing brackets and the King remote reservoir brackets will work together. Haven't dropped the sway bar yet, but I'm thinking both of these will not work together.

Anyone run them both? If so, pics of how you accomplished it would be appreciated.

Tried, and failed. The C4 brackets and king remote brackets will not work together. At least without a fair amount of garage engineering and modification that I just was not willing (or able for lack of tools) to take on. Bummer. I really wanted the additional bumper support. The sheetmetal Toyota passes off as "frame" the last 20 years or so is ridiculous. Ahhh, the good old days when you could just bolt up and throw on a Warn 8724 on the front of an FJ40 and have it pull you up a tree if you wanted are long past unfortunately.

But, I think C4 fab engineered the hell out of this bumper, and am hoping it is up to the task. After the ARB on the Gen1, I'm dubious. End cap frame rail fail anyone? Been there, done that, paid the welder to fix that. Should anything similar happen on the Gen3, I'll be putting on the C4 reinforcement brackets (which will, at least for now, sit in a box in the garage), and will be ditching the King remote reservoir brackets in favor of another method. For now, I'll give it a shot.

I can't speak to the C4 bumper as I have the SSO one but the SSO has been used a few times with a warn xd9000i with no issues and have almost exceeded the capacity, so you may not need to bumper reinforcement brackets.

Something @C4 Fabrication should know about in case others run a similar set up. I wonder if these brackets are incompatible with all remote res mounts.

    Here's my Mobtown one.
First pic is the King bracket with no reinforcement and the second is the stock pro suspension with the bumper reinforcement.
    Ideas?

Find a local TW member with a drill and a welder. Chop down the bumper bracket drill new holes in bracket and frame, weld sleeve into new hole in frame krylon that shit, drink cold beverage. Done.

I feel like the drill bit by itself may work.

It will. The welded in sleeve prevents you from going Hercules on the frame and collapsing it. It will also help to prevent ripping the frame in that area as well.

I experienced this with my CBI T3 front bumper and 700lb King RR's. My solution was removing the sway bar. No regerts, it doesn't sway that much

This should be pretty easy to modify. I think another member did this:

I ended up doing it without the side bolt and just using the ones that come from underneath.

Eventually I might drill that hole though.

I do. That post was on 2017 when I had the SSO. Sold it when C4 released their hybrid front.

Obviously you sold the SSO, but how would you compare the two overall?
