He was on upgraded 33/34s I assume. Not 35s at all. 39s on my ol girl. So probably a 40lb unsprung weight difference. It was fun trying to keep up but I'd like to pass like he was standing. Next time!!

Yeah, my truck on 37’s makes all the good race truck noise when I hit the skinny pedal and is loud as heck inside the cab, but probably not terribly fast in reality. Although with the 5.29 gearing it will chirp the tires still on a launch

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Thoughts on my fuel gauge fluctuation.
I noticed yesterday that my gauge needle would dither with momentum of the truck. While slowing or during elevations changes it will swing low and then return to steady state. Wondering if the level arm with the pump has loosened up so the normal physical contact has changed, allowing it to be more sensitive?
Only changes that I have made recently are running some Amsoil fuel cleaner and having taken my dash apart a couple times trying to get the Hypertech Speedometer calibrator to work. Did not start till I had several miles on the Hypertech. That should only effect the odometer and speedometer AFAIK.

im betting a connector in the dash may be unhappy.

There will always be changes to the level based on incline changes. Now if it's an elevation thing then that's something else but despite having a fuel pump module that doesn't exempt even our trucks from fluctuating fuel level.

I had the Hypertech speedo cal. It was garbage for me. Half the time it would not work and kill my speedo. It would set the check engine light off immediately. Took it out and have just been living with the about 3-4 mph off.

I've come across an alternative module for half the price, after purchase. I'm not the first to need to send one in...
I'm ~6-10mph off including the ODO. Would like it accurate for when the 5-0 are on my tail. Also, I moved to iOS and neither the Apple or Google maps display actual mph. So then I have to run an alternative App.
