    When the great pyramids and the sphinx were built, mastodons still roamed the earth. They couldn’t have figured out how to do it without some advanced technology from somewhere. My theory is that they gave up on us ever being an intelligent species, gave us a bad review in the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy and abandoned us.
