For whatever reason I got a 2nd set of the new boots that I didn’t even ask for. Probably a mix up on their end. Guess I have a spare pair now. Even if you don’t get them for free, they’re under $20 I believe. Since I bought my uppers brand new and they were shipped to me with a known defective part, I’m cool with some free stuff. Also that Jesus dvd wasn’t at all appreciated; they should knock that off. We drive Toyotas, we don’t need god.

Just realized this is a 1st gen thread. But I am still buying JBA UCA for my 3rd gen. And I'm wondering if anyone has broken their ball joint or uca in general? Has anyone had issue with the 4 bolts rusting, snapping? Loose ball joint on their jba? Thanks

I’ve had mine for awhile and after the boot replacement. No complaints. Not rusty or anything. I’d recommend.

How long have you had them? Do you lube them up often?

No issues after my boot replacement either. I hit the grease fittings at every oil change or a bit sooner if I’m bored. Haven’t ever really “needed” to, they’re silent and smooth as far as I can tell.

Probably a year or longer and oil then every oil change. So 4-5k miles.

Mine are holding up great. Took a while to get them, but COVID screwed a lot of things like that up.

I still have the replacement ones on that they sent me. Those are holding up great. The new pair they sent are still in my toolbox.
