I put new tires and tubes on our garden cart yesterday. 15x6-6, same size as the front tires on most garden tractors. Those little buggers are no fun, let me tell you! I can't really complain though -- the old ones lasted, let's see, 28 years. ;)

A couple weeks ago, I noticed a flat tire on my splitter. I know small tubeless tires will do this, so I put a ratchet strap around the tread, tightened the strap to push the tire bead into contact with the rim, and inflated it. Pop! Bingo! Worked like a charm. Did the same for a neighbor last summer. He thinks I know everything now. Got him fooled.

Good Sunday Morning. Today is a busy one. Off to have a follow up x-ray taken then grocery shopping. Back home to practice the guitar and clean out the pellet grill then off to a High School play. Still need to figure out dinner tonight.

Is that where you spray some starting fluid inside the tire and toss a match at it to seat the bead?

    Yeup..
Sketchy I know but, customers wanted shit done and done fast.
You have flat bead tires you have to do something.
Don’t recommend the backyard guys do it but I weigh the risk..

Doesn't really affect us on Oahu except for the vog. Only comes in when the winds are southerly, like they are now.

    Rowing Machine arrived. Concept 2.

I've been looking at them for a while, wanted something for cross-training in addition to my recumbent mounted on my Wahoo Kickr.

I like the instructions "start out slow, no more than five minutes the first day". Well, I do a lot of recumbent riding and lots of boxing/core workouts. Still, it is no kidding on different muscles. The lower back, lats, shoulders can feel it. It's relaxing (you get in the zone and keep rowing).

Dark Horse Rowing on Youtube has some good tips (back flat, hinge, push with legs, once legs are extended then pull back with arms). Trying to work on my form, need to find a personal trainer to make sure I'm not doing something stupid. Oh, getting my butt up against the legs (start of stroke) is tighter than I am used to having those muscles. Massive charlie horse last night (groin).
