Agreed. I didn’t switch to LED fogs till selective yellow Rigids came out for that very reason. Then upgraded to the SS3 Pros, then the SS3 Max in selective yellow.

    Gashole..TRD coin box..Ultimate turn light..TRD Pro grill..Black overlays emblems..Black Toyota exhaust..Hard metal tonneau cover..TRD pro shift knob..
i got the sport ones...very bright on nights in the city and surbs..mines are always on..the pro ones i think is for off road use only..they produce more output light wich blind others drivers

I think I'm leaning more sport because they will be always on for me. I want to supplement my lighting down the road for off-road purposes.

The Pros are street legal, but if you run your lights always on the Sports will be a better choice, not only for other motorists but also for you as the driver. Fogs should only be run when needed in poor weather, when running them in clear weather large increases in foreground light reduce your night distance vision. The Sports will have less of the blow out effect in foreground light vs the Pros, so they will have less of a negative affect on your night vision while also being kinder to oncoming motorists.

    Nice setup.
I currently have the sports for fogs, I'd like to add the pros or max for ditch lights.

10 minutes if you have long arms? I did mine reaching in from behind the headlights in the engine compartment.

Super easy. If you’re wheels and tires are still stock then you should be able to get behind the wheel liner. Or you can remove the grille and install it from there

Nice! I have been wanting to upgrade my stock fog lights but I’m huge on staying OEM on everything. How good are these compared to the TRD PRO ones?

No comparison at all. All the info is in the SAE fog thread, you can see the TRD Pro lights in the original post, and the SS3s linked at the top. TRD Pro Rigids come in at 203 lux while the entry level DD Sports come in at 377 lux with a much wider beam pattern for more area coverage. See the thread for more details:

Not to thread jack but do you have some pics of the rav 4 with the lights on. My wife has a 2019 and have been trying to convince her to upgrade the fogs.

Sports sound like the better option for me then. They have the added benefit of also not dealing as hard a blow to my wallet.

Sports on my 4R. Love the cutoff and color and I never get flashed, I run them all the time city and highway and never had anyone flash me yet.

Ohhh that looks so smooth! I think I may be sold on the sports! Save the Pro grade stuff for other lighting upgrades.

They really are an awesome product, and the cutoff on the sports is more defined than the pro, sure you get more light but less refined.
