    Lmao!

    Drives like a Ferrari too!

Ok, maybe not a Ferarri, but it sure has a lot of pep, and it handles really nice.

Hi. Your correct they are spider headlights. It was a nice upgrade from factory both in look and in use. Still I’m sure could get better. Here is a latest pic with 3” lift. This is OME full set leaf, then 5100 Bilstein all around with OME springs. See my post: Help Tires and wheels. As look to do new wheels and tires as just completed lift.

It's one of the main reasons for my dislike of that 1st gen design. I like to retrofit all my headlights. This is the only years where the only good option for quality is OEM and the lens is fluted so you can't just throw in a projector in and call it good. You need a clear lens and the only thing available is the cheap stuff that doesn't last or at least not 20 years like OEM.

I installed some FJ wheels since I don’t see too many 1st gens with them. Yes I know the rear is low I have to install the AAL soon. 2E0936D8-C873-4F97-90F4-0301CF49B36B.jpg

What size are those wheels? The leaf springs OME I got at a good price on Wheelersoffroad, also did greasable shackles. Gave a nice boost before Bilsteins

Call this dude. Owner is Brandon. He's a cool dude. He does a lot of stuff on a lot of different things, but his personal offroad truck is a custom LT 5 lug standard cab with an LS motor in it.

He's in Ceres/Modesto... maybe if your out of the greater Sac area the price might come down a little. Just a thought.

Built a little puller to press out the old front bushings on my Dakars. Replaced the rubber bushings that came preinstalled with the Wheelers poly set. The front eye really didn't want to go back into place, took a bit of rigging to get everything aligned. I think I might have finally eliminated my rear end clunk, after a test drive I'm feeling pretty optimistic.
