Three-day, two-night trip at Wet Beaver Wilderness. Camp Site: 34.65787, -111.69409. No joke getting to this spot, trailer or not. Dropped the trailer and wheeled back on 09201J about another ten miles. The initial climb was sweet.

Sweet climb afternoon of first day. 10-12 degrees of loose, off camber cantaloupes.

Day two wheeled House Mountain, rated “difficult” in the FunTreks AZ guide. Solid obstacles with no problems. Great view of Sedona and the San Francisco Peaks to the north, northwest.

Found this little cozzy spot down by the river. (Trash was there prior to me ) First time using the propane fire ring and this thing is pretty clutch for fall/winter camping in the PNW since we spend most of the time under the pop up tent.

I say go for it! In WA we have a lot of fire bans in the summer, but propane fire pits are permitted so that’s another sell point for me. I’d say roughly 3-4 hours per 1 lb of fuel. A 5lb tank could easily last a weekend trip IMO. I got a 1lb tank I’m going to use next time and I’m gonna run it start to finish and get a more accurate estimate.
