I go out of my way to find the oddball parking spot that is extra wide or way out of the way,
otherwise I park like that all the time - and I don't give a rats-ass what anybody thinks about it either -

If people were courteous and didn't open their doors on other peoples cars then I'd park proper -

Someone fked up my wifes Subaru Forester drivers door a few weeks ago - .. pulled in and didn't make it and rubbed their
bumper into her door. People got no respect for other peoples property.... and I got no respect for them.

Those are actually some huge parking spots.

I don’t go to places during busy time because of this or park way in the back.

If you park like that at least park out towards the end of the lot where you aren’t taking up spaces close to the front.

I lived in an apartment complex with the only a few spaces in front of my building, some cock used to park like this, I wasn’t upset when someone threw yellow paint all over his truck.

seriously. I understand you don’t want to get your car dinged and realize people are very inconsiderate but doing this is just asking for it.

In this area we have Menards there striped lot is crazy , it's marked space's are really narrow and some times people if you park a smaller car and 2 full size cars on both sides will lock you in. Most full size car's/trucks almost need to straddle the lines to be able to get out.

Seen on YouTube, where people pull out yellow tape from their car and tape the vehicle were the lines go.... Love it!

My last commuter Toyota Camry had 20+ door dings. I lived in the city, always parked well and in spaces that left plenty of room. Didn't matter one bit. I'm talking big ass paint mark leaving dent making door dings. At least 2 a month.

I absolutely park in two spots the farthest out when space is available now. If the lot is full, I park normally. 2 vehicles later I have had exactly zero door dings. People can snicker all they want about "hurr durr truck no leearrn park!" but I absolutely lose my shit on people who are so inconsiderate they can't open their car doors gently. You will lose a tire if I catch you.

No reason for a Tacoma to park like that. There not that big. I drive around for a long time with my tundra Pro till I found a end spot. Lol.

If you are so afraid of door dings that you need to park like this then, unfortunately, parking lots just aren't for you.

No excuse for parking like this.

I don't do it, but at the same time I'm having a hard time getting worked up about it.
Def not a hot button issue for me.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
