Running Toyo Open Country AT3s all year in the front range of Colorado with no issues. Prior I ran Yokohama G015 ATs on a Subaru and had no trouble getting from our home in the front range to the mountains during big storms. Just practice driving safe and leave plenty of distance.

Nokian Hakka R3 SUV here in P-rated. Didn’t get a ton of snow last season to truly test them out but they never gave me any pause.

Ran Hankook I-Pike RW11s prior with good results as well. Made it through a 100” winter in 2015 with zero drama.

The only tire I run year round, I live in an area where I have to go up big hills to go to work. Then down big hills to go home, with these most times I don't even put it in 4wd. At least with my 2015 I didn't, lets see what the 21 does. And I don't care how loud, how much they eat mpg's etc. If I did I would buy a Prius.

I picked up Nokian Hakka LT3 non studded and installed late October. We just got 4-6 inches of snow with some ice and these tires didn’t bat an eye!

Just got some Nokian LT3's put on. I run Hakka 9's on my S4 and its a cheat code for the winter (0 problems in durango/silverton last year). I can't recommend them enough.

I love when people say you dont need winters.

It's true. But I want the best performance. You buy big tires for offroading? Buy winters for winter.

I don't clinch my butt once on my commute and I know I can boogie out of someones way if bad is headed my way.

I run Yokohama winters studless. Very limited inventory last year, not my first choice.

Just FYI for future, you can usually find a good set of winter tires at some random tire store online. I called all my local shops & large online retailers and they told me these Nokians were backordered TBD. Ended up getting a set last week from simpletire. It was was a pretty big headache and wouldnt go out of my way to recommend them (sent to wrong installer, then rerouted to a different wrong installer), but manageable. Good if last minute

I used to live in Bend and will absolutely agree. Those and duratracs. A dedicated snow is better, but at3ws work.

i run the RF-11 ATM. Been great in the snow. Not so great in mud. Nothing really beats a Blizzak though

Nokian Nordman 7s on my truck, Nokian Hakkapaliitta 9s on my car. The hakkapaliitta 9s are better, but I was too cheap to get them for both vehicles. Both are worlds better than Wrangler Duratracts or Kevlars or Continental Pure Contacts (all are snow rated all seasons). The difference can be multiple car lengths when stopping. I run the speed limit with winter tires on, in conditions that I would drive 30 mph in with the snow rated all seasons (even when brand new).

I work at a dealer, I want my discount and control of the product haha.

Blizzaks were sold out country wide at the time. Sucked.

But you are right, had a guy at work find Falkens after he was told they were sold out.

Great to know! My local shop sales them and that what they are suggesting. Told me they are an "upgrade" from the RF-10 or ATM.

Nokians or Blizzaks if going full winter. That's all I'd use.

Does it get real cold where you live? Some of the suggestions of ATs here would be fine in wet and deep snow but would be absolutely useless if you're driving on hardpack at -30. Especially once they're worn.

There can be a big difference between tires that do well in deep snow and those that do well on icy roads.

I had these on my Ranger and really didn't like them. They did last forever though.

Spot on. Blizzaks are top notch on hard snow and ice without studs. I wish they made AT or MT blizzaks for deep snow wheelin'.
