I came up with something different. I was tired of hearing my girlfriends oil tanker water bottle slam around. So I attached a strap with crabiners to the under part of the glove.. problem solved :D

    All stock, baby!
After reading quite a bit about the 3rd gen TRD Pro skid plate on 2nd gens being compatible, I took a chance and ordered this unit for my 2011. I got it bolted up but it did require a little persuasion. The long spacers are required in the middle to clear the center jack point (actually, looks like it still doesn't quite clear, but it's close) and differential mounts, which leaves the front ones about 1/2 inch too short. Unless, that is, you're willing to force the issue. I got the rear 8mm bolts in loosely, snugged the center, used my knee to press the front up and snugged up the front, then got a piece of wood to push up the back so as not to put too much force on the smaller bolts while tightening. Doesn't look warped or overly stressed, but it was getting dark when I finished so I'll check it out in the daylight. I need to pull it out again anyway to paint it.

So I think it will be fine. I may make some longer spacers for the front to alleviate a bit of the pressure, but all in all I'm happy with it.

As a note, if you don't have anything bolted in the rear 8mm bolt holes, clean up those threads before trying to use them. My thread restorer couldn't get a good bite initially, so I used a factory 8mm bolt from the splash pan to start, then switched to the restorer once the gunk was out of there. Don't rush it, if you strip those nuts you'll have a lot more work to do.

Tore this POS out before I do the ADD delete. Wanted to see what the issue was while I wait for parts. Not much water but seems there’s been enough for a lot of corrosion to occur on the motor’s terminals

No I have the x-runner on my iseecars.com search list so I remembered the color and wheels on that one. Would love to find one with the supercharger.
