I got em from a shop on Etsy (this should take you there).

    https://www.etsy.com/listing/864694768/metal-stickers-custom-car-wheels-center?ref=yr_purchases

You can tell them what you want and/or provide an image. Ships from Portugal so it takes a bit to get em but I'm happy with what they made for me. The size you want for a standard Tacoma center cap is 60mm x 2.36in. I got the domed ones but if I had to do over I'd probably get flat. I like how the domed look but it's also domed on the back so the surface area adhesion is questionable since the center cap is flat. They seem to be on their good but time will tell.

There was a thread I saw yesterday about shorty mudflaps...or stubby mudflaps...or whatever. I can't remember. Anyway, someone mentioned trimming up the stock flaps. I had taken them off because they looked ginormous to me. But with the monsoon season here, my quarter-panels we're becoming unhappy with me so I figured I'd try trimming em up and put em back on for the winter. I think the look pretty good. I may shorten the rears a little more... we'll see. And yeah, the truck was already dirty when I put them back on. :anonymous:

Finally got around to wiping it down after the wool wax undercoating, did notice small specs of grease on the windows after a touch up.. I’m in the minority, but I like the chrome SR lights with the silver paint.

Thought the same thing when I saw the rims alone, but now seeing them installed I like it! Definitely unique!

Indeed. I was able to achieve the drill method but it sure as shit wasn't easy. Honestly, if I knew ahead of time how much of a pain in the ass it was gonna be I probably would have saved myself an hour or so of measuring and remeasuring, and marking and remarking, and sizing up drill bits, and blah blah blah and just hacked up the damn stripping.

Taco twonz seems to be the most in-depth video. So is drilling the holes in the weather stripping what’s hard?

Yeah because of the "metal spine" that runs through it. It wants to kick the bit out. And I just found it annoying sizing up bits. I used a Dremel with a metal cutting wheel to cut through the spine on the backside. That did make that part much easier.

I was thinking the same thing. Wish they could look fresh and new without getting slippery from whatever they tell me to spray on it.

Plastic filter housing has metal threaded insert where the drain device goes.

It does. Don’t think it’s intended to be installed. I install, drain filter housing, then remove.
