209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

Anybody in the 209 looking for some skids?
BAMF LCA skids for 2nd gen Tacoma/4th gen 4runner- painted, mounted for ~5,000 miles. Missing 1 bolt/nut/washer. $100

BAMF steel transfer case skid- 2nd gen Tacoma-never mounted, powder coated, some wear from moving it around the garage- $300 obo.
2nd gen Tacoma rear diff skid for 8.4” still in wrapping. $350

 

Gonna have to think about this when I get home from Monterey...

First flight of the new drone


We were able to recover it easily. Didn't take any damage. Second flight worked flawlessly.

But first flight was hilariously EXACTLY our luck.

 

I was thinking about both the IFS and rear diff skids, haha. But, hey, if you want it, take it.

 

I don't wanna rain on your parade.

I also said I'd never put any of Jerry's shit on any of my vehicles... but it solves a problem, I beat up my diff on "Sidewall Suicide" NRT pretty good.

I do need a diff skid.

 

Wont fit the 1st gen Matt

 

After looking at the bank account... all yours. I'm tapped for the month.

 

It's also for an 8.4" rear diff...

 

It will if I drill out a drain hole on the other side. It's the only thing that's different.

Jerry is just too much of a dick to drill it on the side that will work on a 1st Gen.

 

His page says the 2nd Gen diff will work with 8.0 and 8.4 rear diffs.

Just specifies that the drain must be on the Pass side. (Which is the only thing that changed on the 8 inch diff from 1st to 2nd Gen. Mine is on the driver side)

 

I dunno man, that order page has an option for 8" and 8.4"

Sorry, I meant the LCAs, not the IFS. I'll get back to you ASAP one way or the other.

 

You are right. I know the 8.0 will work (with exception of the hole on the wrong side)
