Too much, I think I found $200-$300 for the lever alone. I was looking at the wunderlich vario levers but good lord, they are pricey too but cheaper than OE.

Fiancé and I bought a cricut today and I used it to cut a retroreflective BMW roundell for either the backpack or back of my helmet. Pretty stoked, actually, this little thing is going to be dangerous.

Just about to cut the brake lever to make them even. File them down and paint them so it doesn’t look like I fucked up.

Great beginner-ish bike. Just practice practice and get used to it. It’s a fun little bike, can’t fault it for much. Post up photos and ask any questions ya want to.

    A bunch..and no build thread!
Some of us ride our Harleys everywhere. I don't own a trailer, but we have one at the clubhouse if anyone ever needs it.

If I trailered my bike somewhere, I would get my ass kicked on sight.

I know some Harley owners that put HUGE miles on their bikes. Friends with a Sportster owner who has completed the Iron Butt Rally 4 times and has over 300k miles on it. Know one rider who documented over 100k miles on a Harley in 2019. Just followed another rider on Facebook who put 100k miles on a 21 Road Glide in only 100 days to set a world record and raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. Flip side is I know more Harley owners who will trailer to an event only 3 hours away!

Just giving him some grief. We rode to Philly together earlier this year and that was his highest single mileage day ever so I have to pick on him.

Have you tried Beemer Boneyard? Good source for BMW bike parts.

Last year or the year before I bought a half lb bag of scrap material from RydeSafe (https://rydesafe.com/collections/all/products/rydesafe-half-pound-bag-of-reflective-tape-8-oz) for the bike, helmet, and backpack. The stuff is super retro-reflective and bright. I pinstriped the helmet and bike and used some squares on my backpack and still had probably 95% of the material left haha

Fast forward to yesterday, we were at Joanns so she could look at the christmas decorations and were in the cricut aisle and saw most were $50 off, so the little Cricut Joy which will do 4 or 5" tall by up to 20' long was only $129. I love doing custom stickers/decals/vinyl on my stuff so we picked it up.

Their software is pretty easy to use. Googled a flat image of the roundell, told it where to remove material, and bingo bongo like 2 minutes later I had a cut image. From there you just weed the parts you don't want, put transfer tape over top, and apply.

That's a nice looking trailer. If you're ever in a bind the u-haul $20/day ones with the wheel chock in the front are also really, really good and easy to pull.

In other news, I put the heated seat on the BMW today and HOLY TOASTY IM SO EXCITED.

My wife has one that she uses to make all kinds of stickers, templates for painting, marker drawings that we have hung up through the house, etc. She just made a new doormat for the front porch yesterday that says "Dogs Can't Handle Their Licker" with some black spray paint, a plain wicker mat and a vinyl template she cut.
