Yes, I can’t say how much exactly. My thoughts are to try just getting it to break loose essentially. But tighter, just a little bit. If that makes sense haha.

For the record, everyone and their dog was telling me this. But it ended up being the cam bolts

It’s definitely coming from the front, but I’ll add it to the list, couldn’t hurt to check

I’m taking it to a different shop on Monday morning and I’ll make a note of that to them. I feel like the current shop I’ve been at has given up, I don’t think the sound sounds like cab mount bushings but if the cam bolts don’t fix it I’ll do that next

Would be sweet if there were some spare coil overs to toss on there, no matter the brand to see if this is possibly coming from the factory installed PRO coil overs….

Would be! I’m thinking it may be the cam bolts or something though because I think I can sometimes replicate the sound slightly just by turning the wheel, or it gets worse when turning and moving

I will assume that everything is super clean when being installed/looked at, dirt build up could potentially make some noise also

Yeah I haven’t wheeled my truck at all yet, and I hand wash it at least 2 times a month and underneath.

I’m guess it has to be something with the re-torquing; the noise wasn’t there pre-installation, and the noise was still there after taking the front lift off and moving back to stock.

The only other things that have changed are the back lift (noise is definitely coming from the front), 285s (already trimmed for rubbing and noise happens when just rolling straight forward), and the CMC

So I read through this entire feed. I'm having a similar issue with this setup:

    -Toytec BOSS 2.0 Coilver's
    -Rear block
    -285/65/18 rims/tires

My noise is noted going over potholes/bumps, but more noticeable at slower speeds. The reason it concerns me is because I only hear the noise if I hit a pothole with my front passenger tire, whereas if I go through the same hole but hit it with my driver side, I don't hear that noise. I would describe the noise as a "bobble" or like play/movement somewhere. I took it back to the original installer of the lift and they said everything looked fine, but I have my concerns about their honesty. I'm interested to find out what you find.

-I've also been told about checking body mounts and radiator mounts. I eyeballed them and they look fine but the truck also has only 8k miles

I’ve heard body mounts and radiator mounts, but mine seems to make more noise when I turn the wheel in addition to going over small bumps, makes me think it’s something with the UCAs or LCAs. My shop said everything is torqued up as well, it was in the shop for 3 days with no luck.

Im taking it to a shop that deals exclusively with Toyotas and Jeep on Monday to get their opinion.

I’m hoping the more specialized shop on Monday can figure it out, it’s driving me nuts

Well the off-road shop isolated it to the fox shocks. Both the front and back shocks are creaking, on both sides. Gonna take it to Toyota to have them look at it. They aren’t rubbing or anything, just creaking.. so odd. Any thoughts?

Someone else mentioned this, but did you install yhe spacers for the sway bar?

I have the toytec coil overs, zero issue. But i CALLED them on the phone, just to make sure i got everything id need. It helps to call and double check what your buying with an expert.

Just throwing this out there, but check and see that your coil springs are seated correctly in the top perches.

    Could that cause a creaking?
