Cant buy cheap up here anymore. Prices have skyrocketed over the past year. Back in 2016 my buddy Campo bought his place on 71 acres for $219k. Only improvement he did was a commercial grade stove, fridge & new electrical in the basement. He just sold it for $449k, that's a nice profit. I love it up here, but I dont half-a-million dollars love it up here. I paid $95k for my place in 2017, I only owe $62k. This past summer I turned down a $225k offer, it's crazy. I'm sure the bottom is gonna drop out...

 

Looking for free scrap steel. Semi clean steel like old leaf springs. I just purchased a Mig/stick welder. Need something to practice on.

I was looking up Ethiopian cuisine because I was going to be smarmy and say "Well I like this or that" but an astonishing amount of Ethiopian food appears to be mush, in varying shades of brown. That or this, wonderfully appetizing-sounding sour sponge: "Injera is a sour fermented flatbread with a slightly spongy texture, traditionally made of teff flour. "

Makes me wonder what my old '85 SR5 would have been worth if I still had it.

I wrapped up the heater core replacement job yesterday, all is well. I found that the cable for the heater control valve was stuck, so I got that working smoothly. It wasn't the most pleasant job to do, but far from the most difficult heater core replacement. That award goes to the VW MK IV Jetta, hands down.
