Could this be adapted to fit a 3rd gen?

 

Not sure how many I have but I have at least two. I know I lost one and took them off.

 

Selling a set of OEM wheel locks for alloy wheels, part no. 00276-00900. Brand new in a never opened package. These are the "short" wheel locks which are for the vehicles with smaller lug nuts. The Tacoma lug nuts, at least for the 3G trucks are longer. I ended up ordering the 00276-0091 which matches the length. These will physically work on a Tacoma, just look shorter.

Full disclosure, I ordered these off eBay and the seller doesn't allow returns. There have been some back and forth about real or fake Toyota products if you get parts from a non-dealer on eBay. Having purchased a set of wheel locks from a dealer and comparing the packaging and what I can see of the locks looking through the package I have very little doubt these aren't real deal.

From what I understand you’d have to get a new back panel for it to seal correctly as your tailgate is curved. I think other than that it would. There’s some threads on here about it

I THINK the rear panel is the same - I would verify with soft topper. That said - I have a rear cross bar that would be needed for a third or second gen. I have a soft topper that came with a cross bar for a second gen. Selling the topper and I can sell it to second gen only and give you the third gen cross bar if that is the only difference.

I won't be in Vermont in a while though.

 

What are you looking to get for it? How old is it/how long have you had it on your rig?

 

Lol I just realized I could also sell you mine - if the first gen doesn't work out I have one for sale as well for a third gen. Let me know if Mr Taco 2s works.

400. I’ve had it about 6 years but it spent 4 stored in the basement. It’s in great shape. I had it on an 02, but the new truck is a long bed otherwise I’d keep using it

Bump. Chipper shredder sold a while ago. Mud flaps got tossed in the garbage. Pellet stove still for sale; make an offer and come pick it up. Cb cable and oem grill still available but going in the garbage if not claimed soon.

 

Hmmm. I might want that 9ft cable... If there's a TW express going around, that would be nice.
