Instructions in the photo shows 2005-2011.. Not sure if anything is different on the 2.5 gen 4x4 switches.

I think I’ll give it a try I don’t think the switches are different.

My only thought about what may be different is if illuminates amber as opposed to white like the rest of the HVAC switches on the 2.5 gems.
Can you confirm the color of LED?
    Thanks!

I don't know what the difference between a 2005-2011 vs a 2012-2015 is. I had an 06 and an 08 and they were amber. I ordered this to match.

05-11 is amber, 12-15 should be white

I don't think the Gen2.5 switches have the translucent areas for the LEDs to shine through......

Just an FYI, the switch will not work on a '12-'15 and have it illuminate. The fix is to use a 4Runner switch and modify.

Ahh ok, I was being wishful I guess. I literally hopped in my Taco for an errand after posting that I’d try it, and saw the white LEDs on the rest of my dash.

I guess I’ll pass… thanks for taking the time to clarify everyone!

    You guys rock! :rockband:
I was hoping to get off easy without the whole switch or doing the Hilux ring thing.
