I figured someone may be wondering about the pads for the Stoptech rear disc conversion as well.

If I remember correctly discount code goes in on payment page. Then you hit “apply”.

Correct, there is a link at checkout that says ,"Have coupon click here" or something. Then you can put in the taco-gb code

I've been running them with TRD 16's, but they have the right backspacing to allow it. Though I did find out my spare tire won't fit now lol. Need to get a 5th TRD wheel

Anyone doing this upgrade, and still has their stock 6 lug 4 piston caliper—- I will buy your stocks if they work 100% and aren’t rusty! PM me.

ST 6 piston BBK installed and brake fluid bled.

Also did (replaced) the sway bar end links while I had the truck on jack stands.

FYI Edit: 4Runner 17” wheels clear the calipers.

Anyone know if I should run into any issues with BBK. I have TC spindle gussets and FN countersteer type x wheels 17x8 -10 offset?

What kit did you go with? How can you compare the stoptech kit to OEM? I know there’s a discount code for us here but I’m wondering if there will be anything better for Black Friday

Last year SOS Performance had 15% off for Black Friday. I got the the 6 piston 340mm kit for $1732.30.

Damn 6 piston. I bet that’s a nice kit. I was looking at the 4 piston but is that what everyone upgrades to for heavier trucks? How’s the life span on the pads?

Went with the 6 Piston BBK. The truck is pushing past 5000 lbs. Go big or go home. Have not wheeled with the new brakes. The OEM brakes were fading on long technical trails. Just driving around town the BBK do stop better in simulated panic stops.

No point in going 4 piston when the 6 piston can clear 16’s too

The 325mm does, but not the 340mm or 355mm sizes which need 17” and 18” wheels respectively.
